The time for talking is over. It’s time to ACT.
Keith Oscar Williams – during a 2017 campaign speech on Facebook. Williams ran for Birmingham (AL) City Council for the first time. He believes the ACT framework is the foundation for good government that is rooted in the people. This is the proper context of politics. Politics comes from the Greek word “politikia,” meaning taking care of the affairs of the people. If what you are not doing is addressing the needs of the people, it’s not politics.
